XR Hardware Technician
Electrical / Simulation Systems Technician responsible for control panel wiring, electrical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, mechanical assembly, soldering, and support of simulation-based training systems.
Job Requirements
High school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Associate degree/Journeyman credentials in a relevant field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Equivalent military experience accepted in lieu of an Associate degree.
Knowledge of electrical circuits and electrical devices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience constructing and wiring control panel instrumentation and I/O systems.
Experience performing maintenance on 120 VAC electrical circuits.
Experience diagnosing equipment problems and performing basic troubleshooting and repairs.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble mechanical components using drawings and maintenance procedures.
Soldering experience.
Experience with XR technologies.
U.S. Naval Systems experience or Engine Room Team Trainer Systems experience.
Ability to travel domestically to customer sites.
2+ years of relevant experience supporting IT security project teams or IT-related projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing simulation-based training equipment.
Experience constructing simulation-based training equipment.
Experience operating simulation-based training systems.
Experience with instrumentation and control systems.
Experience supporting military training or simulation environments.
Experience with mechanical and electrical integration.
Job Responsibilities
Construct and wire control panels, instrumentation, and I/O systems.
Perform maintenance on 120 VAC electrical circuits.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and simulation equipment.
Disassemble and reassemble mechanical components using engineering drawings and maintenance procedures.
Perform soldering of electrical and electronic components.
Diagnose equipment failures and complete basic repairs.
Support XR-based training and simulation systems.
Maintain and support naval or engine-room training equipment.
Assist with installation, maintenance, and field support at customer locations.
Support simulation equipment testing and operational verification.
Maintain technical documentation related to equipment repairs and system maintenance.
Pay: 42-57/hr

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
