R&D Test Technician

Mechanical Test Engineer responsible for test method development, design verification testing, mechanical testing, and process support using Instron equipment.

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of experience with test method development.

• 1+ year of mechanical testing experience.

• Hands-on experience with Instron testing equipment.

• Experience performing design verification mechanical testing.

• Experience developing and validating product test methods.

• Experience measuring, analyzing, monitoring, and controlling process variables.

• Experience working within regulated quality systems.

• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements for product testing and development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting R&D product and process development.

• Experience supporting pilot or production equipment.

• Experience with manufacturing scale-up activities.

• Experience with process development and equipment development.

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing, medical device, or similar environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and validate mechanical test methods for product evaluation.

• Perform mechanical testing using Instron equipment.

• Execute design verification mechanical testing.

• Support product, process, and equipment development activities.

• Set up and support pilot and production equipment.

• Measure and analyze process variables.

• Monitor and control process parameters during testing and development activities.

• Support manufacturing scale-up and capacity expansion activities.

• Document test methods, results, and verification activities.

• Ensure testing and development activities comply with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements.

Pay: 27-30/hr

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
