Design, maintain, and improve industrial electrical systems supporting power distribution, controls, instrumentation, equipment reliability, and capital projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills

  • Maintenance or maintenance supervision experience.

  • Experience with industrial power distribution systems.

  • Experience with electrical control systems and instrumentation.

  • Experience supporting equipment reliability and failure analysis.

  • Experience with capital projects, shutdowns, and outages.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and validate electrical designs and drawings for power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.

  • Maintain system drawings and site-wide power distribution system models.

  • Perform equipment failure analysis and develop technical recommendations.

  • Review proposed equipment replacements, upgrades, and capital projects.

  • Develop cost estimates for engineering projects.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, maintenance, and reliability activities.

  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems in support of operations and maintenance.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment cost, performance, and efficiency.

  • Coordinate projects associated with shutdowns and outages.

  • Schedule and coordinate contractors for capital projects and major maintenance activities.

Pay: 70k-100k/year
