Aerospace Deburring Technician responsible for deburring, finishing, cleaning, and preparing complex precision-machined components to blueprint and customer requirements.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • Experience deburring complex aerospace components to customer specifications.

  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

  • Ability to identify critical edges, surface finish requirements, outside diameters (OD), and inside diameters (ID) from engineering drawings.

  • Experience creating and maintaining specified surface finishes.

  • Experience producing burr-free critical edges and controlled edge breaks.

  • Experience washing and cleaning precision-machined parts.

  • Experience with hand tapping and chasing threaded holes.

  • Experience working with intricate, detailed precision components.

  • Ability to visually inspect small features and detailed part surfaces.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with complex aerospace machined parts.

  • Experience in medical device or medical manufacturing environments.

  • Experience preparing precision parts for final inspection.

  • Experience interpreting surface finish symbols, break-edge requirements, and dimensional callouts.

  • Experience with precision hand-finishing and deburring tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deburr complex precision-machined aerospace components according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

  • Review blueprints to identify critical edges, surface finishes, OD/ID features, and break-edge requirements.

  • Remove burrs while maintaining dimensional integrity and required part geometry.

  • Create and maintain specified surface finishes.

  • Produce controlled, burr-free edges on critical component features.

  • Perform hand tapping and chase threaded holes as required.

  • Wash and clean components following machining and finishing operations.

  • Visually inspect parts for burrs, surface defects, and finishing requirements.

  • Prepare completed components for final inspection and shipment.

  • Follow established aerospace manufacturing, quality, and customer requirements.

Pay: 23-27/hr
