Automotive Test Engineer responsible for developing and executing test plans for ECU, network, ADAS, and vehicle-level systems to verify performance, integration, and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

  • 1–5 years of test engineering experience.

  • Experience with automotive ECU development and integration.

  • Experience with CAN network analysis.

  • Experience with Automotive Ethernet.

  • Experience with ADAS system development and validation.

  • Vehicle-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.

  • Experience with Vector CANoe and related automotive test tools.

  • Experience developing and reviewing engineering requirements and specifications.

  • Knowledge of diagnostic communications and fault management.

  • Experience developing and executing engineering test plans and procedures.

  • Experience documenting and reporting test results.

  • Experience applying engineering principles and analysis tools to component and system validation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience validating ECU performance against design acceptance criteria.

  • Experience with automotive regulatory and internal validation standards.

  • Experience with vehicle communication protocols and diagnostic systems.

  • Experience with component, subsystem, and full-vehicle testing.

  • Experience coordinating technical testing activities with suppliers and engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and procedures for automotive ECUs, components, and vehicle systems.

  • Execute component, subsystem, and vehicle-level testing.

  • Validate design feasibility and verify components meet defined performance targets.

  • Perform CAN and Automotive Ethernet network analysis.

  • Support ADAS system development, integration, and validation.

  • Troubleshoot vehicle-level hardware, software, communication, and integration issues.

  • Perform root cause analysis for test failures and system faults.

  • Use Vector CANoe and related automotive tools for testing, diagnostics, and network analysis.

  • Develop and review test requirements and technical specifications.

  • Validate diagnostic communications and fault management functionality.

  • Collect, analyze, and document test data and results.

  • Prepare engineering test reports and validation documentation.

  • Support ECU integration and system-level validation activities.

  • Coordinate testing and issue resolution with suppliers and engineering teams.

Pay: 40-47/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $47.00 per hour
