Service Technician
Provides on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for industrial welding, material-handling, and automation equipment.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial troubleshooting.
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel up to 70%, including overnight travel.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial plant environments.
Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
Experience supporting equipment installation, startup, or commissioning activities.
Preferred Skills
Technical certification or associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
Experience with welding equipment.
Experience with material-handling equipment.
Familiarity with PLC systems and basic control logic.
Siemens control system experience.
Allen-Bradley control system experience.
Experience with robotic equipment and automation systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Experience reading P&ID diagrams.
Experience with SCADA systems.
Experience with HMI systems.
Industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical certification.
Experience performing basic mechanical repairs.
Weldment assembly experience.
Previous field service experience.
Job Responsibilities
Install industrial automation equipment at customer facilities.
Perform equipment startup and system commissioning.
Conduct functional testing and system optimization.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and robotic system issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
Complete corrective maintenance and equipment repairs.
Diagnose equipment failures and replace or repair components as required.
Support welding and material-handling automation systems.
Provide on-site technical support for equipment operation and system issues.
Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
Read and apply electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation during service activities.
Support PLC, control system, HMI, and automation troubleshooting as applicable.
Document service activities, equipment issues, repairs, and commissioning results.
Travel to customer locations for installation, startup, maintenance, and service activities.
Pay: 27-36/hr

Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
