Quality Inspector 2nd Shift

Performs incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections for plastic and medical consumable components using dimensional and visual inspection methods.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or technical school education.

• Previous experience in product inspection or quality control.

• Experience with CMM quality standards.

• Experience using measurement tools such as microscopes, calipers, and optical projectors.

• Familiarity with plastic components and visual and dimensional inspection criteria.

• Basic knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving methods.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experience identifying and documenting non-conforming material.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with medical consumables.

• Experience in plastic injection molding.

• Working knowledge of injection molding manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality system requirements.

• Basic Mandarin reading, writing, or verbal communication skills.

• Experience with first article inspection of injection-molded components.

• Experience supporting calibration of inspection and measurement equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform incoming material verification and sampling inspections.

• Conduct first article inspections for injection-molded components.

• Perform in-process visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional testing.

• Use microscopes, calipers, optical projectors, and other inspection equipment to verify product conformance.

• Identify, document, and trace non-conforming products during production.

• Perform final inspections of packaging and labeling prior to warehouse release.

• Verify plastic components against applicable visual and dimensional requirements.

• Update Standard Inspection Procedures and related quality documentation.

• Support calibration management for testing and measurement equipment.

• Maintain inspection records and document quality results.

Pay: 21-28/hr
