Designs, programs, and supports large-scale industrial control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000, Ignition, and high-density I/O architectures for data center and electrical equipment applications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 4+ years of industrial controls experience within the architectural, engineering, construction, or similar industry.

  • 4+ years of PLC programming experience.

  • Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley PLC equipment and control systems.

  • Experience programming PLCs using Studio 5000.

  • Experience with Ignition SCADA/HMI software.

  • Experience designing or supporting control systems with thousands of I/O points simultaneously.

  • Experience with large-scale systems supporting up to approximately 12,000 input/output points.

  • Experience working with electrical equipment in data center environments, including power distribution units (PDUs).

  • Proficiency with ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.

  • Knowledge of Ethernet/IP networking.

  • Experience with HMI systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting large-scale data center automation projects.

  • Experience integrating PLC, HMI, SCADA, and electrical distribution systems.

  • Experience with high-density I/O architecture and distributed control systems.

  • Experience commissioning or troubleshooting large industrial control systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PLC programs using Allen-Bradley platforms and Studio 5000.

  • Program control applications using ladder logic, function block, and structured text.

  • Design and support control systems containing thousands of digital and analog I/O points.

  • Configure and maintain Ignition HMI and SCADA applications.

  • Integrate PLC systems with data center electrical equipment, including PDUs.

  • Develop and maintain Ethernet/IP industrial network configurations.

  • Configure and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and field I/O communications.

  • Perform control system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

  • Review control drawings, I/O lists, network architectures, and system documentation.

  • Support integration of industrial controls with electrical and facility systems.

  • Maintain PLC programs, system configurations, and control system documentation.

Pay: 110k-120k/year
