CNC Operator

Performs advanced CNC machine setup, programming, operation, and troubleshooting for precision manufacturing processes.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Solid understanding of machining practices.

• Advanced knowledge of CNC programming language.

• Experience with CNC Citizen lathes.

• Experience with CNC Swiss machining.

• Experience performing advanced CNC machine setup and programming.

• Experience selecting and setting up tooling and fixtures.

• Experience adjusting tooling offsets and work offsets.

• Experience troubleshooting and editing existing CNC programs.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced manufacturing or machining training or certification.

• 3+ years of manufacturing and machining experience.

• Experience developing basic CNC programs.

• Experience using Quality Management System (QMS) databases.

• Experience using MAX manufacturing systems.

• Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) databases or systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment.

• Perform advanced CNC machine setups.

• Execute and modify CNC programs for production requirements.

• Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.

• Adjust tooling offsets and work offsets.

• Troubleshoot existing CNC programs.

• Perform significant edits to existing CNC programs.

• Develop basic CNC programs as required.

• Monitor machining operations and make necessary setup or programming adjustments.

• Use QMS, MAX, and SPC systems to support manufacturing and quality requirements.

• Maintain machining processes according to established production and quality standards.

Pay: 29-39/hr

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
