Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant controls, automation, or industrial equipment engineering experience preferred.

  • Experience programming Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC systems using RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000.

  • Experience developing HMI applications using FactoryTalk View.

  • Experience with an additional automation platform such as Siemens Step 7 or Siemens TIA Portal.

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting industrial drive systems.

  • Knowledge of AC induction motors, torque motors, servo systems, and motion control applications.

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.

  • Experience troubleshooting and commissioning industrial automation systems.

  • Understanding of electrical control systems and industrial machinery.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with wire drawing, coiling, or similar industrial machinery.

  • Experience with Siemens, Yaskawa, ABB, Lenze, Rockwell, Parker SSD/Eurotherm, or Control Techniques drive systems.

  • Experience integrating PLCs, drives, motors, HMIs, and industrial communication networks.

  • Experience supporting factory acceptance testing and customer-site commissioning.

  • Experience developing automation software standards and technical documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and commission PLC and HMI programs for industrial machinery.

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley/Rockwell automation systems.

  • Configure and optimize industrial drives and motion control applications.

  • Integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and communication networks into complete machine control systems.

  • Support factory acceptance testing, equipment commissioning, and field troubleshooting.

  • Diagnose electrical, controls, drive, and automation system issues.

  • Analyze machine performance and implement controls and automation improvements.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and automation software standards.

  • Support electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and service activities related to machine control systems.

  • Support equipment installations and commissioning at customer facilities.

  • Provide technical support for industrial automation and drive systems.

Pay: 40-60/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
