Support development and characterization of drug delivery systems and combination products through wet-lab research, analytical testing, and technical documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or one year with a master’s degree

  • Hands-on wet-lab experience

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutics, physical chemistry, and drug delivery systems

  • Experience with analytical testing techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, UV-Vis, DSC, TGA, or NMR

  • Experience performing data analysis and documenting laboratory results

  • Experience preparing technical reports and controlled laboratory documentation

  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures, quality systems, and safety requirements

  • Non-biology-focused scientific or engineering background

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with analytical method development

  • Experience with analytical method qualification and validation

  • Experience conducting stability testing

  • Experience with physicochemical characterization

  • Experience with formulation development

  • Experience supporting combination products

  • Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments

  • Familiarity with GMP, GLP, or ISO requirements

  • Experience preparing regulatory documentation and Design History File documentation

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct wet-lab experiments supporting drug delivery system and combination product development

  • Perform drug assay, stability, degradant, and physicochemical characterization testing

  • Support formulation development activities

  • Execute analytical testing using applicable chromatography, spectroscopy, and thermal-analysis techniques

  • Assist with analytical method development, qualification, and validation

  • Coordinate release and stability testing with internal and external laboratories

  • Analyze experimental and analytical data

  • Prepare technical reports and laboratory documentation

  • Support preparation of regulatory documentation and Design History File packages

  • Maintain laboratory records in accordance with applicable quality requirements

  • Support testing activities with formulation, analytical, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions

  • Follow applicable laboratory safety, quality system, and regulated development procedures

Pay: 40-45/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
