Develop, calibrate, validate, and deploy system-level simulation models for vehicle dynamics, thermal management, controls, and integrated automotive systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Zero to three years of automotive industry experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a CAE analyst or simulation engineer

  • Experience with 1D thermal systems simulation

  • Experience with 1D vehicle dynamics simulation

  • Experience with controls and plant modeling

  • Experience with multi-body dynamics vehicle simulation

  • Experience with integrated systems simulation

  • Minimum of two years of experience using 1D system simulation tools such as GT-SUITE, Siemens Amesim, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, CarSim, or CarMaker

  • Experience with multi-body dynamics tools such as Simpack, Adams, or AVL EXCITE

  • Experience with model construction, calibration, validation, and analysis

  • Experience using simulation results to support engineering decisions

  • Experience with coding or scripting for workflow automation, simulation preprocessing/postprocessing, and data analysis

  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, Java, or comparable programming languages

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Automotive vehicle dynamics simulation experience

  • Thermal management simulation experience

  • Experience developing simulation methodologies for deployment to engineering end users

  • Experience with integrated vehicle system modeling

  • Experience automating CAE workflows

  • Experience developing reusable simulation methods, models, or analysis tools

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop 1D and system-level simulation models for automotive applications

  • Build and maintain vehicle dynamics and thermal management models

  • Develop controls and plant models

  • Perform multi-body dynamics and integrated systems simulations

  • Calibrate simulation models using test or engineering data

  • Validate model performance against physical system results

  • Analyze simulation results and support engineering decision-making

  • Develop simulation methodologies for use by engineering teams

  • Automate simulation workflows using Python, MATLAB, Java, or related scripting languages

  • Develop preprocessing and postprocessing tools for simulation activities

  • Perform data analysis and visualization of simulation results

  • Support deployment of simulation methods and models to engineering end users

  • Maintain simulation models, assumptions, methodologies, and technical documentation

Pay: 29-39/hr

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
