Press - Mold - Technician - 1st shift

Maintain, set up, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and supporting facility systems.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Technical or vocational training preferred

• Hands-on experience maintaining injection molding presses, molds, and industrial equipment

• Direct experience operating injection molding machines

• Experience with injection molding machine and mold setup, startup, and changeovers

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging equipment during production

• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve machine and process issues

• Experience with electrical systems up to 480V, three-phase power

• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals

• Knowledge of industrial safety requirements

• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures

• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Preferred Skills

• Mandarin language proficiency

• Experience supporting injection molding engineering or R&D teams

• Experience working in ISO 8 cleanroom environments

• Experience with mold repair and component replacement

• Experience with mold temperature controllers

• Experience with chillers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, and dryers

• Experience maintaining electrical breaker panels

• Experience maintaining HEPA HVAC or air-handling systems

• Experience supporting equipment installation and commissioning

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding presses

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and process-related equipment issues

• Operate injection molding machines during setup, troubleshooting, and production support

• Perform machine setup, startup, and mold changeovers

• Disassemble, assemble, and repair injection molds

• Replace mold components as required

• Support mold installation and removal activities

• Maintain and troubleshoot mold temperature controllers, chillers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, and dryers

• Maintain selected facility electrical and air-handling systems

• Support equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning

• Perform troubleshooting directly on running production equipment

• Follow lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and other applicable safety procedures

• Perform maintenance and production support activities in ISO 8 cleanroom environments

Pay: 29-39/hr

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per year
