Legal Operations Coordinator (Project Specialist II)

Support legal operations, billing, vendor administration, and financial processes for a corporate legal department.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, or a related field

• Experience in legal operations, corporate legal departments, law firm administration, accounts payable, procurement, finance, or related administrative support

• Experience with e-billing systems

• Experience with matter management or legal technology platforms

• Experience using SAP or comparable enterprise financial systems

• Experience processing invoices and billing documentation

• Experience maintaining legal, vendor, and financial records

• Experience supporting vendor onboarding and administration

• Experience identifying opportunities to improve operational processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting a corporate legal department

• Experience working with external law firms and legal service providers

• Experience with legal spend management

• Experience with accounts payable or procurement workflows

• Experience reconciling billing discrepancies

• Experience with legal vendor management

• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational point of contact for external law firms and legal vendors

• Coordinate legal billing and invoicing activities

• Process and track administrative requests

• Support onboarding of law firms and legal service providers

• Maintain accurate vendor, billing, matter, and legal operations records

• Update information within e-billing, matter management, and financial systems

• Resolve invoice, billing, and vendor administration issues

• Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel on outstanding operational items

• Support legal vendor and supplier administration

• Assist with accounts payable and procurement-related activities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal department

• Support process improvements related to legal operations, billing, and vendor management

Pay: 30-48/hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $48.00 per hour
