Electrical Controls Engineer II
Design, program, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for high-speed canning and packaging machinery used in food and beverage manufacturing.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive equivalent experience in electrical machine design, controls, and logic
Minimum of five years of controls design and engineering experience for high-speed machinery
Experience programming PLCs using Rockwell Studio 5000
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD
Experience designing machine safety systems using safety relays and safety PLCs
Experience troubleshooting machinery using electrical wiring diagrams
Experience troubleshooting equipment through PLC logic
Knowledge of electrical control system design
Experience supporting industrial machinery and automated equipment
Knowledge of machine control circuits, electrical panels, and industrial automation systems
Preferred Skills
AutoCAD Electrical experience
Knowledge of CE machinery safety requirements and European safety standards
Experience with text-based PLC programming
Experience designing controls for food and beverage equipment
Experience with canning or packaging machinery
Experience with high-speed production equipment
Experience with machine commissioning and startup
Job Responsibilities
Design electrical control systems for high-speed canning and packaging machinery
Develop PLC programs using Rockwell Studio 5000
Create and revise electrical schematics and control drawings
Design control panels and machine electrical systems
Develop safety circuits using safety relays and safety PLCs
Troubleshoot machine faults using wiring diagrams and PLC logic
Diagnose electrical, controls, and automation issues
Support machinery startup, testing, and commissioning
Modify controls designs to support equipment changes and production requirements
Apply applicable electrical and machine safety standards
Support engineering activities for food and beverage manufacturing equipment
Maintain electrical design and controls documentation
Pay: 100k-110k/year

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
