Mechanical Design/Drafters

Develop mechanical design drawings for piping systems, pumps, motors, and related industrial equipment using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Job Requirements

• Experience with mechanical design or drafting

• Experience developing P&IDs

• Experience creating piping layouts and mechanical drawings

• Experience with pump and motor design drawings

• Proficiency with AutoCAD

• Proficiency with MicroStation

• Ability to create and revise engineering drawings

• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, specifications, and design requirements

• No degree required

Preferred Skills

• Junior- to mid-level mechanical design or drafting experience

• Experience supporting industrial or process engineering projects

• Experience preparing equipment layouts and piping drawings

• Experience with mechanical equipment arrangement drawings

• Experience supporting piping, pump, and motor system design

Job Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs and mechanical design drawings

• Create piping layouts and equipment arrangement drawings

• Develop drawings for pumps, motors, and related mechanical systems

• Create and revise drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation

• Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and markups into detailed drawings

• Update mechanical drawings based on engineering revisions

• Prepare layouts, details, and supporting design documentation

• Maintain drawing accuracy and revision control

• Support mechanical engineers with drafting and design activities

• Incorporate project requirements and engineering comments into drawing packages

Pay: 20-45/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $45.00 per hour
