Job Responsibilities

  • Perform board-level bring-up, functional testing, and design verification testing on spacecraft power electronics boards

  • Validate power rails, heater drivers, analog front ends, digital interfaces, telemetry circuits, and protection circuitry

  • Troubleshoot electronic anomalies using schematics, PCB layouts, component data, measurements, and circuit design intent

  • Isolate failures involving components, PCB layouts, firmware interfaces, power sequencing, signal integrity, and mixed-signal interactions

  • Identify root causes of board-level failures and latent design defects

  • Develop, modify, and refine test procedures during hardware bring-up

  • Configure and operate laboratory test equipment for electrical characterization and fault isolation

  • Evaluate circuit behavior under nominal, transient, fault, and edge-case operating conditions

  • Verify protection-circuit thresholds, current limiting, soft-start behavior, fault responses, and recovery sequences

  • Document test configurations, results, anomalies, root causes, and recommended corrective actions

  • Provide board-level findings and design-change recommendations to electrical design engineers

  • Support failure analysis, corrective-action implementation, and hardware re-testing

  • Coordinate test activities with software, systems, manufacturing, and design engineering teams

  • Assess hardware readiness for production and flight-system integration
