EHS Specialist

Supports environmental, health, and safety compliance, auditing, training, and risk-control activities within a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3–5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements

• Knowledge of hazardous waste management and environmental compliance requirements

• Ability to work any assigned shift

• Ability to work overtime as required

• Ability to travel as required

• Ability to complete required medical, vision, hearing, and color-vision assessments

Preferred Skills

• Current Resource Conservation and Recovery Act certification

• Current Department of Transportation certification

• Current OSHA certification

• Environmental, health, and safety auditor certification

• Knowledge of global EHS compliance requirements

• Knowledge of United States and European Union environmental and workplace safety regulations

• Experience conducting manufacturing safety and environmental audits

• Experience managing hazardous materials, waste streams, and regulatory documentation

Job Responsibilities

• Support environmental, health, and safety programs within manufacturing operations

• Monitor compliance with OSHA, environmental, and hazardous-material regulations

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and compliance audits

• Identify occupational, environmental, and operational hazards

• Develop and implement corrective actions for identified compliance issues

• Maintain EHS records, permits, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation

• Support hazardous waste classification, handling, storage, labeling, and disposal

• Coordinate activities required for RCRA and DOT compliance

• Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, spills, and environmental events

• Prepare incident reports and track corrective and preventive actions

• Support employee safety training and regulatory certification programs

• Monitor personal protective equipment and industrial hygiene requirements

• Support medical surveillance, hearing conservation, vision, and color-assessment programs

• Assist with internal, external, and regulatory audits

• Track changes to United States, European Union, and global EHS regulations

• Support emergency response planning and environmental reporting

• Provide EHS coverage across assigned shifts and manufacturing locations

Pay: 85k-95k/year

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
