Job Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX CAD 2412
  • Advanced proficiency with Teamcenter 2506
  • Experience creating and updating 3D CAD models
  • Experience producing and revising 2D engineering drawings
  • Turbomachinery design or drafting experience
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Experience applying part dimensions, tolerances, and drawing requirements
  • Experience identifying interferences and clashes within CAD assemblies
  • Ability to work onsite or remotely, with onsite availability preferred
  • Availability status must clearly identify remote-only or onsite eligibility

Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing turbine, compressor, rotor, stator, casing, or related turbomachinery components
  • Experience managing CAD files, revisions, workflows, and releases in Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for machined, cast, or fabricated turbomachinery components
  • Experience performing model reviews and assembly interference analyses
  • Experience supporting engineering change and configuration-control processes
  • Experience working with large or complex mechanical assemblies

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and maintain turbomachinery CAD models using Siemens NX
  • Produce and update 2D drawings from approved 3D models
  • Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, notes, and manufacturing requirements to engineering drawings
  • Review assemblies for clashes, interferences, clearance issues, and fit concerns
  • Resolve model and drawing discrepancies
  • Maintain design data, revisions, and release records in Teamcenter
  • Incorporate engineering changes into models and drawings
  • Support drawing checks, model reviews, and design-release activities
  • Coordinate CAD updates with engineering, manufacturing, and configuration-management teams
  • Maintain accurate model structures, part attributes, and drawing references
  • Prepare CAD packages for review, release, and downstream manufacturing use
  • Document remote-only or onsite work availability during candidate submission

Additional Lead Responsibilities

  • Generate basic project-performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain burndown curves
  • Track work status, completion progress, and outstanding design tasks
  • Report CAD workload, schedule performance, and delivery risks
  • Assign and monitor modeling and drawing activities


Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
