Sr Contracts Administrator

Manages the complete government contract lifecycle for domestic and international aerospace and defense programs while ensuring FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and EAR compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five or more years of contracts administration experience within the aerospace, defense, or government contracting industry
• Experience administering contracts as a prime contractor and as a subcontractor to a government prime
• Experience managing the complete contract acquisition lifecycle
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation
• Working knowledge of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement
• Experience with international contracting
• Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations
• Knowledge of Export Administration Regulations
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, administering, and closing government contracts
• Experience interpreting contract terms, clauses, statements of work, and regulatory requirements
• Experience interfacing directly with government, prime contractor, and subcontractor customers
• Eligibility to obtain a United States security clearance

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contracts management, finance, or a related discipline
• Ten or more years of aerospace or defense contracts experience
• Active Secret security clearance
• Contracts experience with a major aerospace or Department of Defense prime contractor
• Experience supporting classified programs
• Experience with international sales, foreign military programs, or export-controlled contracts
• Experience administering cost-reimbursement, fixed-price, time-and-materials, and indefinite-delivery contracts
• Experience reviewing requests for proposals, proposals, modifications, and subcontract agreements
• Experience supporting contract audits and regulatory reviews

Job Responsibilities

• Administer government and commercial contracts throughout the complete acquisition lifecycle
• Review requests for proposals, solicitations, contract awards, modifications, and amendments
• Evaluate contractual requirements, terms, conditions, deliverables, and compliance obligations
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing provisions, schedules, and administrative requirements
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and applicable government contracting regulations
• Manage contracts performed directly for the United States Government
• Administer subcontracts performed under major aerospace and defense prime contractors
• Support international contracting and export-control compliance activities
• Coordinate contract requirements with program management, finance, legal, engineering, supply chain, and operations
• Maintain contract files, correspondence, approvals, modifications, and required documentation
• Track contract deliverables, funding, period of performance, milestones, and reporting requirements
• Identify contractual risks, compliance concerns, and potential scope changes
• Prepare and process contract modifications, change requests, claims, and administrative actions
• Support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and customer discussions
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding contract status, requirements, and performance
• Monitor contractual commitments and verify completion of required actions
• Support government audits, contract reviews, and compliance assessments
• Manage contract closeout activities and final documentation

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.50 per hour
