EM Assembler

Assembles, modifies, inspects, tests, and repairs complex electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical hardware, assemblies, and customer-owned systems.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six or more years of experience manufacturing complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, major assemblies, or systems
• Experience working from engineering drawings, schematics, performance specifications, quality standards, and repair orders
• Experience performing electro-mechanical or opto-mechanical assembly and disassembly
• Proficiency using basic electrical test equipment
• Proficiency using mechanical measuring instruments
• Basic computer operation skills
• Experience performing acceptance inspections

Preferred Skills

• Experience repairing customer-owned electro-mechanical or opto-mechanical products
• Experience supporting engineering failure analysis
• Experience implementing corrective actions
• Experience troubleshooting complex assemblies and systems
• Experience documenting inspection, test, repair, and modification results

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical production hardware
• Assemble complex subassemblies, major assemblies, and complete systems
• Perform work according to engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and quality standards
• Perform acceptance inspections on completed hardware and systems
• Test assemblies using electrical test equipment and mechanical measuring instruments
• Identify assembly defects, test failures, and nonconforming conditions
• Assist engineering personnel with failure analysis and troubleshooting
• Implement approved corrective actions and hardware modifications
• Repair customer-owned products within a repair environment
• Verify repaired and modified products against applicable specifications and customer requirements
• Record assembly, inspection, testing, modification, and repair activities

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
