Designer

Develops advanced mechanical designs, 3D models, 2D drawings, and tolerance analyses using NX1980 and Teamcenter.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years of mechanical design experience

• Advanced proficiency with NX1980 CAD

• Experience creating complex 3D models and detailed 2D drawings

• Experience managing CAD models and drawings in Teamcenter

• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5M-1994 or newer GD&T standards

• Experience performing tolerance and stack-up calculations

• Experience developing mechanical layouts and detailed component designs

• Ability to work onsite

• Ability to demonstrate NX1980 proficiency during a virtual technical interview

Preferred Skills

• Experience working under limited supervision on mechanical design projects

• Advanced mechanical detailing experience

• Experience applying GD&T to production drawings

• Experience maintaining controlled design data within Teamcenter

• Experience reviewing mechanical designs for dimensional and tolerance compliance

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980

• Create advanced 3D models and detailed 2D drawings

• Apply ASME Y14.5M-1994 or newer GD&T standards

• Perform tolerance and stack-up calculations

• Develop layout designs and detailed mechanical concepts

• Manage models, drawings, and related design data in Teamcenter

• Review drawings for dimensional accuracy and design compliance

• Revise models and drawings based on project requirements

• Maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Pay: 27-36/hr

Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
