Maintenance Technician
Maintains, repairs, installs, and services manufacturing equipment, facility utilities, and industrial support systems.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Manufacturing maintenance experience required
Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and compressed-air systems
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows
Ability to maintain equipment service and maintenance records
Ability to perform biohazard cleanup according to established procedures
Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training and required immunizations
Valid driver’s license
Availability to support facility needs outside normal working hours
Ability to follow safety procedures, maintenance standards, and departmental work instructions
Preferred Skills
Experience maintaining production machinery and automated manufacturing equipment
Experience installing industrial equipment
Experience with facility energy-management systems
Experience performing light carpentry and construction work
Experience training maintenance or facility service personnel
Knowledge of manufacturing engineering and production-support processes
Experience troubleshooting facility utility systems
Experience recommending equipment performance and safety improvements
Job Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive inspections and maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment failures
Repair and maintain HVAC and compressed-air systems
Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications
Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services
Review maintenance requests and determine appropriate job assignments
Use the maintenance system to track work orders, repairs, inspections, and service history
Coordinate equipment repairs with production supervisors, manufacturing engineering, model shop personnel, and other departments
Maintain accurate service records for machinery and facility systems
Recommend improvements to equipment performance, safety, energy use, and facility operation
Perform biohazard cleanup according to established exposure-control procedures
Perform light to moderate carpentry, construction, and facility repair work
Complete local deliveries and courier services for documents, materials, and personnel transportation
Train new employees on maintenance and facility-service procedures
Maintain tools, replacement parts, equipment, and maintenance work areas
Follow required safety policies, departmental procedures, and standard operating instructions
Pay: 18-24/hr

Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
