Manages materials planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain process improvement across the production cycle.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 6–9 years of relevant experience, or MBA with 4–7 years of relevant experience
Experience with materials planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations
Experience planning, scheduling, and monitoring materials throughout the production cycle
Experience managing shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory activities
Experience sourcing inventory and non-inventory materials
Experience placing indirect or maintenance, repair, and operations purchase orders
Project management experience
Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma principles to procurement or supply chain processes
Ability to learn and use SAP and related business software platforms
Experience supporting inventory reporting and month-end cost collection
Experience maintaining accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier data
Experience identifying process automation opportunities
Preferred Skills
Experience using SAP for purchasing, inventory, materials planning, or supplier management
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or procurement-focused AI platforms
Experience supporting supply chain digital transformation initiatives
Experience automating procurement, inventory, or reporting processes
Experience with supplier scheduling and delivery coordination
Experience supporting quality compliance within procurement or supply chain operations
Experience developing or delivering employee process training
Experience analyzing supply chain data and operational performance
Lean or Six Sigma certification
Job Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and monitor materials throughout the production cycle
Coordinate material availability with production requirements
Manage shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory-control activities
Source inventory and non-inventory products and services
Coordinate supplier delivery schedules and resolve material availability issues
Place and manage indirect and maintenance, repair, and operations purchase orders
Track purchase orders, supplier confirmations, deliveries, and discrepancies
Support inventory reconciliation and month-end cost collection activities
Maintain accurate material, supplier, purchasing, and inventory records
Coordinate procurement and inventory activities with Finance, Accounting, Quality, and operational stakeholders
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to procurement and supply chain processes
Identify waste, delays, data errors, and process-control gaps
Develop and implement process-improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities to automate purchasing, reporting, inventory, and supplier-management activities
Use AI-powered tools to improve research, analysis, reporting, and decision support
Support supply chain systems implementation and digital transformation projects
Develop project schedules, track milestones, and report project status
Support quality-compliance activities related to suppliers, materials, and purchasing processes
Create process documentation, work instructions, and training materials
Support employee training on procurement, inventory, and supply chain procedures
Pay: 50-52/hr

Pay Details: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour
