Operator II – Injection Molding & Automation 1st shift
Operates injection molding presses and automated production systems while supporting inspections, troubleshooting, mold changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience operating injection molding machines of various tonnage
Knowledge of injection molding and automated production processes
Ability to interpret machine alarms, warnings, and process signals
Experience performing authorized equipment resets and first-level troubleshooting
Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and validated process parameters
Experience performing in-process visual inspections and quality checks
Preferred Skills
Technical or vocational training
Experience with automation systems, robotic pickers, or robot-arm-based equipment
Experience with CCD vision inspection systems
Leadership or production lead experience
Experience in an ISO 8, Class 100,000 cleanroom, or regulated manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality-system requirements
Experience supporting mold changeovers, equipment setup, and preventive maintenance
Job Responsibilities
Operate injection molding presses according to approved procedures and validated process settings
Monitor molding cycles, machine conditions, and production output
Operate and monitor robotic automation used for part transfer, component insertion, inspection, and packaging
Monitor CCD vision inspection systems
Perform in-process visual inspections and quality checks
Identify recurring defects, process trends, and abnormal operating conditions
Interpret machine and automation alarms
Perform authorized resets and first-level troubleshooting
Escalate process, equipment, and quality issues outside defined limits
Support mold changeovers and basic machine setup activities
Assist with preventive maintenance
Document production, quality, equipment, and process information
Maintain compliance with cleanroom, manufacturing, and quality-system requirements
Pay: 24-33/hr

Pay Details: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
