Civil Engineer

Senior Site Civil Engineer responsible for leading site development, master planning, utility routing, grading, drainage, stormwater, and permitting design for large industrial projects.

Job Requirements

• 15+ years of civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Advanced Civil 3D skills
• Experience leading site civil design teams on projects
• Experience coordinating with remote multidisciplinary team members
• Experience with stormwater analysis and modeling using StormCAD, CivilStorm, or similar software
• Experience with data center, large industrial, or complex site development projects
• Experience with site selection, site development, and site master planning
• Experience designing underground utility routing and site space planning
• Experience designing hydrology and storm drain systems
• Experience analyzing and designing gravity wastewater systems
• Experience preparing final grading plans, cut and fill analysis, and earthwork balancing
• Experience preparing erosion and sediment control plans
• Experience preparing stormwater pollution prevention plans
• Experience supporting permit approval processes
• Knowledge of local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements for design and construction

• Experience supporting AHJ coordination and permitting across multiple regions
• Experience leading civil design packages from planning through construction documentation

Job Responsibilities

• Lead site civil engineering design for large industrial and data center projects
• Support site development, site master planning, and site selection activities
• Design underground utility routing and site space planning layouts
• Perform hydrology analysis for storm drain system design
• Analyze and design gravity wastewater systems
• Prepare final grading plans, cut and fill analysis, and earthwork balancing
• Develop erosion and sediment control plans
• Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans
• Support permit approval activities and AHJ coordination
• Research and apply local AHJ design and construction requirements
• Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using StormCAD, CivilStorm, or similar applications
• Coordinate site civil design elements with other engineering disciplines
• Review project requirements and develop civil design solutions for site infrastructure
• Support design documentation, calculations, reports, and construction drawing packages

Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
