Job Requirements

  • Embedded software development or testing experience
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Aerospace software experience
  • Experience with DO-178 compliance requirements
  • Experience developing software test cases
  • Experience verifying embedded software against defined requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DO-178B or DO-178C
  • Familiarity with additional DO-178 assurance levels
  • Experience with aerospace software verification and validation
  • Knowledge of requirements-based testing
  • Experience documenting test procedures, results, and compliance evidence

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop Python test cases for embedded aerospace software
  • Verify software behavior against system and software requirements
  • Execute tests to confirm compliance with applicable DO-178 standards
  • Document test procedures, expected results, and actual results
  • Identify and report software defects and requirement gaps
  • Maintain test scripts and verification documentation
  • Support software verification, validation, and certification activities


Pay Details: $74.00 to $99.00 per hour
