Quality Technician
Performs returned-device complaint investigations, documents findings, and supports compliant product complaint processing and reporting.
Job Requirements
Associate degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
1 or more years of related quality, laboratory, or medical device experience
Previous complaint investigation experience
Technical writing experience
Experience performing root-cause investigation testing
Experience documenting investigation results in a complaint database
Knowledge of product traceability and quality documentation requirements
Ability to maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, supply inventories, and test documentation
Preferred Skills
Experience in the medical device industry
Experience investigating returned medical devices
Familiarity with complaint management systems such as GCMS
Experience working with research and development and manufacturing teams during complaint investigations
Knowledge of medical device quality systems and complaint-handling procedures
Experience creating or updating returned-product test procedures
Job Responsibilities
Receive and verify returned products associated with customer complaints
Perform initial root-cause investigation testing on returned devices
Enter complaint details, testing results, and investigation findings into the complaint management database
Maintain product traceability throughout receipt, testing, analysis, and disposition
Obtain additional technical information from research and development, manufacturing, and complaint management teams
Follow up on outstanding product returns and missing complaint information
Review complaint records for completeness before submitting for approval
Prepare clear and accurate technical investigation documentation
Maintain laboratory equipment calibration records
Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory
Maintain laboratory documentation and analysis records
Assist with updating returned-product test methods and procedures
Evaluate complaint-handling procedures and recommend process improvements
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with quality procedures
Complete required quality-system and position-specific training
Pay: 18-21/hr

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
