Sr Accounting Analyst
Performs corporate accounting, revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial close, account reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of public company or corporate accounting experience
Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements
Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting requirements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
Experience analyzing income statement and balance sheet activity
Experience performing SOX controls and supporting management testing
Experience maintaining complex accounting schedules and workbooks
Preferred Skills
Active Certified Public Accountant license
SAP experience
Public company accounting experience
Experience with complex revenue recognition arrangements
Experience maintaining lease accounting schedules
Experience supporting external audits
Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis
Experience developing or improving accounting processes
Job Responsibilities
Perform monthly financial close activities
Maintain complex revenue recognition and lease accounting workbooks
Apply ASC 606 requirements to revenue transactions
Apply ASC 842 requirements to lease accounting activities
Analyze account activity and prepare journal entries
Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
Analyze monthly profit and loss and balance sheet performance
Investigate account variances and document findings
Perform SOX control activities and maintain supporting documentation
Support management testing and audit requirements
Prepare accounting reports and period-end schedules
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements
Assist with additional accounting processes and special projects
Identify and implement improvements to accounting procedures and reporting tools
Pay: 55-68/hr

Pay Details: $55.00 to $68.00 per hour
