PCB Design Engineer
PCB Layout Designer role focused on hands-on PCB design, complex multilayer board layouts, controlled impedance routing, Cadence Allegro, and fabrication documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of PCB layout and design experience
Hands-on PCB layout and design experience as a primary job function
Advanced proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer or Cadence Allegro PCB Editor
Experience independently completing complex board layouts
Strong understanding of IPC standards
Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
Experience with multilayer stackup design
Experience with controlled impedance routing
Experience with high-density PCB layouts
Experience working within structured release and configuration management systems
Preferred Skills
IPC CID certification
IPC CID+ certification
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, or SERDES
RF layout experience
Transmission line design experience
BGA fan-out experience
Fine-pitch component layout experience
Power distribution network design experience
Decoupling optimization experience
Job Responsibilities
Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and engineering requirements
Perform component placement and routing for complex multilayer boards
Create high-density and controlled impedance PCB designs
Execute high-speed digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal layouts
Apply PCB design techniques for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal performance
Generate complete fabrication documentation packages
Generate complete assembly documentation packages
Interface with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve technical questions
Support DFM and DFT reviews
Incorporate DFM and DFT feedback into PCB layouts
Maintain PCB design outputs within structured release and configuration management systems
Pay: 47-63/hr

Pay Details: $47.00 to $63.00 per hour
