Architectural Designer role focused on industrial and semiconductor facility design, 3D modeling, clash detection, project coordination, and design delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies, Computer Drafting and Design, a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Experience in industrial building design
  • Experience with semiconductor or related high-tech facilities
  • Experience with 3D modeling and clash detection tools
  • Knowledge of semiconductor tool requirements and installation processes
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in high-tech manufacturing
  • Successful design delivery experience across multiple projects, scopes, or facility types
  • Extensive modeling and drafting experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or related programs
  • Extensive model review experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam
  • Knowledge of codes, standards, discipline requirements, and industry best practices

Preferred Skills

  • Deep knowledge of architectural layout subject areas
  • Familiarity with design requirements across multiple disciplines
  • Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related modeling or drafting program experience
  • Experience identifying scope, schedule, and budget impacts
  • Experience identifying scope changes and escalating project impacts
  • Experience evaluating technical design options, including pros, cons, and recommendations
  • Experience as a project lead designer
  • Experience estimating work hours by task or project phase
  • Experience training junior staff or staff new to a project

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design work for industrial and semiconductor facility projects
  • Develop and maintain architectural layouts, models, drawings, and project documentation
  • Use Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related tools for modeling, drafting, and model review
  • Perform clash detection and model coordination
  • Review design requirements across architectural and related discipline areas
  • Identify technical design problems and develop multiple solution options
  • Present design options, pros, cons, and findings to design teams and customers when required
  • Review project scope and provide direction to keep design work aligned with project requirements
  • Break projects into required tasks, assign hours to each task, and provide work estimates to leadership
  • Support scope, schedule, and budget tracking through design production
  • Identify scope changes and escalate project impacts to project leadership
  • Apply codes, standards, discipline requirements, and industry best practices
  • Perform as a project lead designer when required
  • Provide technical direction to junior staff and staff new to the project
  • Train staff on discipline requirements, modeling standards, drafting requirements, and project-specific design expectations


Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
