Manufacturing Technician
Aerospace Manufacturing Technician responsible for fabricating, assembling, validating, and supporting critical flight hardware and ground support equipment.
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Advanced technical training
2+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting
Experience in a similar manufacturing technician, assembly, fabrication, or hardware support role
Mechanical assembly experience
Electrical assembly experience
Fabrication experience
General shop experience
Mechanical aptitude
Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 experience
Experience working from flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training requirements
Ability to identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance
Ability to work occasional weekends and late days to meet shipping dates
Ability to stand and walk during assigned work
Ability to use hands to handle tools, objects, and controls
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Close vision, distance vision, and color vision ability
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Crimpers
Drills
Taps
Torque wrenches
Power tools
Air tools
Experience working with adhesives
Experience working with chemical cleaners
Experience working with coating materials
Experience supporting manufacturing engineering process improvements
Ability to travel to local vendors and suppliers as required
Job Responsibilities
Fabricate critical flight hardware
Validate critical flight hardware
Perform mechanical assembly of flight hardware
Perform electrical assembly of flight hardware
Fabricate and support flight Ground Support Equipment
Work according to flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training requirements
Assist engineers with flight hardware manufacturing
Assist engineers with prototype hardware manufacturing
Assist engineers with test infrastructure development
Document assembly procedures
Document test procedures
Support specified engineering and manufacturing tasks
Identify non-conformances
Communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance
Coordinate with facilities and maintenance to support production equipment upkeep
Ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner
Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders
Review process instructions for manufacturing order execution
Support understanding and execution of process instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and manufacturing equipment as required
Support local vendor and supplier visits as required
Pay: 28-33/hr

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
