Production Machine Operator responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring product quality, documenting production activity, and supporting material preparation and equipment upkeep.

Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder

  • U.S. Person able to obtain post-hire Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance

  • Up to 1 year of manufacturing experience

  • Up to 1 year of machine operation or IT experience

  • Knowledge of basic hand tools

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Typing experience

  • Excel experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot routine machine issues

  • Ability to accurately document checklists

  • Ability to interpret Standard Operating Procedures

  • Ability to work from Work Instructions

  • Technical education or related technical experience preferred

  • Production machinery operation experience preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery

  • Monitor quality of machine output

  • Monitor machine performance during production

  • Perform small machine adjustments using company-supplied hand tools and supplies

  • Support product quality and production speed through machine adjustments

  • Perform production activities

  • Perform quality inspection of materials and finished goods

  • Support mailing of materials and finished goods

  • Maintain equipment in good working order

  • Document production logs

  • Audit production logs

  • Document inventory receipt of raw materials

  • Document ISO control records

  • Document finished goods records

  • Shred destruction materials

  • Stock materials for production

  • Prepare materials for production

  • Clean shop floor weekly, including sweeping and trash removal

  • Review job sheets and approved proofs for each job

  • Determine customer specifications, including material and shipment requirements

  • Communicate quality, production, and maintenance issues to production supervision

  • Identify machinery operation issues

  • Evaluate machinery operation issues

  • Initiate corrective action for machinery operation issues

  • Diagnose minor machine issues using maintenance training and hands-on experience

  • Repair minor machine issues when quick fixes are available

  • Communicate job status and machine status during shift transitions

Pay: 24-26/hr

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
