Procurement Specialist
Purchasing Agent responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, contract execution, supplier management, and procurement compliance for aircraft parts, materials, equipment, tooling, services, and supplies.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of supplier management or procurement experience as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- Experience sourcing and purchasing aircraft parts, machinery, equipment, tooling, raw materials, packaging materials, services, and supplies
- Experience proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts or subcontracts in support of U.S. Government requirements
- Experience negotiating complex supplier contracts
- Experience managing supplier performance
- Experience preparing contractual documents and binding agreements
- Experience with purchase orders and subcontract agreements
- Experience using purchase tracking systems
- Experience maintaining purchase order tracking
- Experience managing supplier delivery performance
- Experience supporting procurement compliance with internal policies and quality management systems
- U.S. citizenship required

Job Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing and procurement processes
- Source aircraft parts, machinery, equipment, tooling, raw materials, packaging materials, services, and supplies
- Negotiate purchases with suppliers
- Purchase materials and services according to internal policies
- Ensure procurement activity complies with quality management system requirements
- Enter procurement information into purchase tracking systems
- Track purchasing obligations
- Maintain purchase order tracking records
- Monitor supplier delivery status
- Take action on vendor issues affecting delivery
- Escalate supplier issues to management as required
- Prepare RFQs
- Analyze RFQ responses
- Make sourcing selections through the RFQ process
- Prepare bid packages
- Implement purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations
- Prepare purchase orders
- Prepare subcontract agreements
- Manage supply and demand activity
- Manage supplier schedules
- Monitor supplier quality performance
- Monitor supplier delivery performance
- Evaluate material alternatives
- Identify cost reduction opportunities
- Evaluate manufacturing process and acquisition opportunities
- Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity management for procurement activity
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
