Automation Project Manager responsible for site-based automation project management, loop checks, Rockwell control systems, contractor coordination, and leadership of controls engineering teams in industrial process facilities.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering background
  • Automation engineering background
  • 10–15+ years of site project management experience
  • Experience with loop checks
  • Experience with Rockwell control systems
  • Experience working with electrical contractors
  • Experience managing controls engineers and technicians
  • Experience managing teams of 5–15 people
  • Experience working in chemical plants, oil and gas facilities, or pulp and paper facilities
  • Ability to start on July 20
  • Ability to work onsite approximately 20 miles west of downtown New Orleans

Responsibilities

  • Manage site automation projects in industrial process facilities
  • Coordinate loop check activities
  • Support Rockwell control system project execution
  • Manage controls engineers and technicians
  • Coordinate electrical contractor work
  • Support automation engineering activities in the field
  • Oversee project execution for controls and electrical scope
  • Coordinate work across engineering, technician, contractor, and site teams
  • Support project schedules, field execution, and site readiness
  • Provide technical direction for automation and controls activities
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup-related controls work as needed


Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
