Piping Checker

Senior Piping Designer role focused on piping system design, isometric drawing checks, construction package support, and 3D CAD design review.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher preferred

• 20 years of piping design experience

• Professional experience designing piping systems

• Knowledge of codes and standards related to piping system design

• Ability to perform core piping design tasks independently

• Ability to reference specialized technical expertise when required

• Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams

Preferred Skills

• Basic proficiency in 3D CAD platforms

• Experience maneuvering within 3D design environments

• Experience extracting design information from 3D CAD models

Responsibilities

• Check isometric drawings for construction packages

• Use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings

• Review piping isometrics against P&IDs, material specifications, stress analysis reports, stress isometrics, vendor equipment drawings, and instrumentation drawings

• Maneuver within 3D CAD design environments to extract pertinent information

• Support construction package schedules

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
