Mechanical Commissioner
Commissioning Engineer role focused on commissioning activities for utility infrastructure, mechanical and plumbing systems, building automation systems, facility systems, new construction, renovations, and existing buildings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of progressive commissioning experience
- Experience with utility infrastructure, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, building automation systems, controls, building systems, facility components, or facility operations and maintenance
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, TAB process mechanical testing, and code requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to complete multi-week field assignments
- Ability to complete periodic long-term assignments
- Experience beyond petrochemical-only commissioning work
Preferred Skills
- Mission critical commissioning experience
- Industry-recognized commissioning certification
Responsibilities
- Participate in onsite and office activities supporting commissioning projects
- Lead commissioning activities
- Perform QA/QC testing and functional performance testing
- Support equipment and systems start-up
- Verify systems meet design requirements and stakeholder expectations
- Support commissioning for new construction projects
- Support commissioning for renovation projects
- Support existing building commissioning
- Support asset management projects
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
