Mechanical design role focused on Creo-based capital equipment design, industrial machinery, weldments, motion systems, and mechanical power transmission.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Associate degree with related experience considered
7–10 years of mechanical design experience
Creo software experience
Engineering experience with capital equipment or industrial machinery
Structural steel design experience
Weldment design experience
Industrial motion system experience
Mechanical power transmission experience
Experience reading specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data
Experience preparing layout and detail drawings
Preferred Skills
Creo 5.0 or newer experience
Windchill experience
Product data management system experience
Welding positioner design experience
Assembly positioner design experience
Jig and fixture design experience
Responsibilities
Design welding and assembly positioners
Design related jigs and fixtures
Review specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data
Resolve design issues related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost
Prepare preliminary sketches
Create layout drawings
Create detail drawings
Support mechanical design work for capital equipment and industrial machinery
Pay: 36-48/hr

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
