Structural Engineer responsible for structural analysis, design, calculation review, and technical support for steel and concrete structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering

  • Professional Engineer License

  • Minimum of 4 years of structural engineering experience

  • Experience with U.S. building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC

  • Experience with structural engineering analysis software

  • Experience with Navisworks

  • Experience with Bluebeam

  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel structures

  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional concrete structures

  • Experience in semiconductor industrial facilities or general industrial facilities

  • Experience leading small teams

Preferred Skills

  • Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering

  • Master of Science in Structural Engineering

  • Experience with lateral analysis and design for wind and seismic loads

  • Experience applying building code provisions to structural design

  • Experience providing technical guidance to designers, drafters, and less experienced engineers

  • Experience advancing workflows, systems, and tools within a structural engineering discipline

  • Experience with emerging structural engineering technologies

Responsibilities

  • Perform conventional structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision

  • Plan and conduct structural engineering work involving evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria

  • Apply principles and practices of lateral analysis and design for wind and seismic loads

  • Apply required building code provisions to structural engineering work

  • Perform calculation checking for other engineers’ work

  • Identify scope changes and escalate them to the Structural Lead

  • Provide technical guidance to designers, drafters, and less experienced engineers

  • Support development of structural discipline workflows, systems, and tools

  • Apply emerging technologies within structural engineering workflows

Pay: 36-48/hr

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
