PCB Design Engineer
PCB Layout and Design Engineer responsible for complex multilayer PCB layouts, high-density routing, fabrication documentation, and design release support.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
7+ years of PCB layout and design experience
Primary professional experience in hands-on PCB layout and design
Advanced proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor
Experience independently completing complex board layouts
Knowledge of IPC standards
Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
Experience with multilayer stackup design
Experience with controlled impedance routing
Experience with high-density PCB layouts
Experience working within structured release and configuration management systems
Preferred Skills
IPC CID or CID+ certification
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, including DDR, PCIe, and SERDES
Experience with RF layout and transmission line design
Experience with BGA fan-out and fine-pitch components
Experience with power distribution networks
Experience with decoupling optimization
Responsibilities
Develop PCB layouts from released schematics, netlists, and engineering requirements
Perform component placement and routing for complex multilayer boards
Create high-density and controlled impedance PCB designs
Execute high-speed digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal layouts
Apply design techniques for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding, and thermal performance
Generate fabrication and assembly documentation packages
Interface with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to address technical questions
Support DFM and DFT reviews
Incorporate DFM and DFT feedback into PCB layouts
Pay: 40-60/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
