Sales Engineer (Account Manager)
Technical sales engineering role responsible for supporting product sales, customer requirements review, proposal responses, technical presentations, and defense logistics sales activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 or more years of product sales experience
- Experience in Defense Logistics Agency or defense logistics environments
- Experience preparing proposals for customer requirements
- Experience responding to requests for proposals
- Experience delivering technical presentations for products or services
- Experience selling products requiring technical expertise
- Technical knowledge of mechanical engineering products, systems, or services
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting technical product sales in government, defense, aerospace, or industrial markets
- Experience reviewing customer specifications and technical requirements
- Experience providing sales support for engineered products or technical services
- Experience collaborating with sales teams on customer-facing opportunities
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements
- Promote the sale of technical products and services
- Provide technical sales support during customer engagement activities
- Prepare proposal content based on customer requirements
- Respond to requests for proposals and customer technical inquiries
- Deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers
- Support technical discussions related to product capabilities, applications, and requirements
- Assist with positioning products or services for customer needs in defense logistics environments
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
