Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 3+ years of practical chemical or mechanical facilities engineering experience
  • Experience with ultrapure water systems
  • Experience with chemical distribution systems
  • Experience with gas distribution systems
  • Experience with process piping
  • Experience with exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, and tank storage/design
  • Experience with related chemical and mechanical facilities systems
  • 3+ years of design project delivery process experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, including manufacturing, installation, or cleanroom use
  • Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • 3+ years of field experience
  • EIT or PE license

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and layout wet piping systems
  • Design and layout dry piping systems
  • Develop equipment layouts for industrial facility projects
  • Design process mechanical systems
  • Design process chemical piping and gas systems for complex manufacturing tools
  • Support retrofit design for existing building systems to accommodate tool installation
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Size, select, and specify equipment and components
  • Provide construction support and factory integration support
  • Provide design and oversight for piping and equipment related to process mechanical systems
  • Support systems involving water, wastewater, process chemicals, and gases
  • Design, develop, evaluate, recommend, and specify engineered systems and products for building construction


Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
