Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related bachelor’s discipline, related technical college degree, or equivalent industrial controls experience
  • 4+ years of industrial controls experience in the architectural, engineering, construction, or similar industry
  • 4+ years of PLC programming experience
  • Allen Bradley PLC experience
  • Experience working with large-scale input/output systems
  • Experience working with systems up to 12,000 input/output points
  • Studio 5000 experience
  • Ignition experience
  • Experience working in data centers with electrical equipment
  • Experience with data center power distribution equipment, including PDUs
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley equipment and systems
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, including ladder logic, function block, and structured text
  • Familiarity with Ethernet/IP networking
  • Experience with HMIs

Preferred Skills

  • Data center controls experience
  • Experience with high-density I/O control systems
  • Experience supporting electrical equipment controls in mission-critical environments
  • Experience with industrial automation systems
  • Experience with PLC-based monitoring and control systems
  • Experience integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and support industrial control systems
  • Program Allen Bradley PLC systems using Studio 5000
  • Configure and support large-scale input/output control systems
  • Develop PLC logic using ladder logic, function block, and structured text
  • Support Ignition-based control and monitoring systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot HMI systems
  • Support controls systems for data center electrical equipment
  • Work with power distribution equipment, including PDUs
  • Support Ethernet/IP networked control systems
  • Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial automation issues
  • Review and interpret controls requirements for industrial and data center environments
  • Support control system implementation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
