Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 3+ years of relevant heavy vehicle or automotive industry experience
  • Full-time onsite availability
  • Experience with root cause problem-solving methodologies
  • Electro-mechanical system integration experience
  • Hands-on product testing experience
  • Experience with test labs or hardware-in-the-loop testing environments
  • Experience creating engineering documentation
  • Data acquisition tools experience
  • Experience with data post-processing techniques
  • 3D CAD design and modeling experience
  • Creo, CATIA, or similar 3D CAD experience
  • Experience designing mechanical components for heavy-duty vehicles
  • Experience performing engineering analysis for vehicle components

Job Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components for heavy-duty vehicles
  • Develop functional, reliable, and cost-effective vehicle component designs
  • Perform engineering analysis for new and existing vehicle components
  • Support design and redesign of components for heavy-duty vehicle applications
  • Develop components for integration into existing and new vehicles
  • Provide vehicle and component integration support
  • Support execution of vehicle and component design activities
  • Apply root cause problem-solving methods to engineering issues
  • Support electro-mechanical system integration
  • Conduct product testing and support test lab activities
  • Use data acquisition and post-processing tools to evaluate test results
  • Create engineering documentation and technical reports
  • Use 3D CAD tools to design and model components


Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
