Quality Engineer
Senior quality engineering role focused on product and process quality, quality data analysis, root cause corrective action, containment, audits, and quality system improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 10+ years of related experience, or 5+ years of quality engineering experience
- Quality engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
- Experience analyzing quality metrics and trends
- Experience with root cause and corrective action processes
- Experience with RCCA
- Experience with containment activities
- Experience with Non-Conformance Report processes
- Experience with Measurement System Analysis
- Experience supporting inspection plans
- Experience supporting control plans
- Experience conducting internal process audits
- Experience responding to Corrective Action Requests
- GD&T experience
- PFMEA experience

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze quality metrics and trends to support continuous improvement
- Pull and review quality data for manufacturing and engineering operations
- Provide data-driven insights related to product and process quality
- Support tiered management systems and structured escalation processes
- Identify and resolve product defects
- Identify and resolve process defects
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Develop countermeasure sheets and complete 5-Why analysis
- Communicate quality requirements to operators
- Reinforce product and process quality requirements
- Facilitate preliminary Non-Conformance Report reviews
- Participate in Non-Conformance Report reviews
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis
- Perform containment activities in response to quality issues
- Manage work packages
- Support Basis of Estimate development for scope planning
- Maintain inspection and control plans
- Conduct internal process audits
- Respond to Corrective Action Requests
- Review technical documents and contractual quality requirements
- Define and support counterfeit part controls
- Manage PFMEA activities
- Apply GD&T to support design integrity and quality requirements
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
