Project Manager
Solid waste engineering role focused on project management, landfill design, permitting, landfill gas systems, regulatory compliance, and operations support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field
- Florida Civil Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain Florida reciprocity within 6 months
- 8+ years of solid waste design or project management experience
- Experience with landfill gas management
- Experience with air compliance
- Experience with landfill design and permitting
- Experience with landfill operations support
- Experience with compost facility operations
- Experience working with South Florida EPA regulations
- AutoCAD Civil 3D or comparable CAD experience
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, regulatory agencies, and permitting requirements
- Valid driver’s license with driving record in good standing

- Experience managing solid waste infrastructure projects
- Experience with landfill infrastructure design
- Experience with composting projects
- Experience supporting construction activities
- Experience coordinating engineering staff
- Experience developing project teams
- Experience communicating with clients on engineering projects
Job Responsibilities
- Manage solid waste engineering and design projects
- Support project management for landfill gas, landfill, landfill infrastructure, and composting projects
- Prepare engineering designs for solid waste management projects
- Support permitting activities for landfill and solid waste projects
- Provide construction support for solid waste projects
- Provide operations support for landfill and compost facility projects
- Coordinate project work with clients
- Coordinate staff assigned to project tasks
- Support staff development within engineering project teams
- Apply applicable regulations, regulatory agency requirements, and permitting requirements to project work
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or comparable CAD software to support design activities
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
