Manufacturing Process Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for transitioning electro-mechanical systems, cable assemblies, and related products from first-time build into full production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with electro-mechanical systems or cable assemblies
- Experience transitioning products from First Time Build into full production
- Experience developing manufacturing processes and techniques for production environments
- Project management experience with internal teams and external suppliers
- Experience delivering products on schedule and within budget
- Hands-on experience with thermo-mechanical assemblies
- Experience with machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and machined parts
- Experience with 3D printed components
- Experience with cable assemblies and system configurations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
- Understanding of manufacturability for aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies

- Experience analyzing tolerance stack-ups
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing issues

Job Responsibilities
- Transition products from First Time Build into full production
- Develop manufacturing processes and techniques for production environments
- Support electro-mechanical systems and cable assembly manufacturing
- Manage manufacturing projects with internal teams and external suppliers
- Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Review engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T requirements
- Evaluate manufacturability for materials including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics
- Support thermo-mechanical assemblies, machined parts, welded parts, sheet metal components, 3D printed components, and cable assemblies
- Analyze tolerance stack-ups and manufacturability risks
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Provide technical guidance to production and cross-functional teams
- Support trade-off analysis, scheduling, and change management activities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and production issues
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
