CNC Machinist responsible for advanced CNC machine operation, setup, programming, troubleshooting, and program editing.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Solid understanding of machining practices
  • Advanced understanding of CNC programming language
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Experience performing advanced CNC machine setup
  • Experience adjusting tooling and work offsets
  • Experience troubleshooting CNC programs
  • Experience editing existing CNC programs
  • Ability to use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases as needed

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced manufacturing training
  • Machining training or certification
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or machining experience
  • Experience developing basic CNC programs
  • Experience selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures
  • Experience working with quality management and statistical process control systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines in an advanced manufacturing environment
  • Execute advanced CNC machine setup and programming
  • Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations
  • Adjust tooling and work offsets to meet production requirements
  • Troubleshoot existing CNC programs
  • Perform significant edits to current CNC programs
  • Develop basic CNC programs as needed
  • Use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases to support production and quality requirements
  • Apply machining practices to maintain accurate and consistent part production


Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
