CNC Operator
CNC Machinist responsible for advanced CNC machine operation, setup, programming, troubleshooting, and program editing.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid understanding of machining practices
- Advanced understanding of CNC programming language
- Experience operating CNC machines
- Experience performing advanced CNC machine setup
- Experience adjusting tooling and work offsets
- Experience troubleshooting CNC programs
- Experience editing existing CNC programs
- Ability to use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases as needed
Preferred Skills
- Advanced manufacturing training
- Machining training or certification
- 3+ years of manufacturing or machining experience
- Experience developing basic CNC programs
- Experience selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures
- Experience working with quality management and statistical process control systems
Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines in an advanced manufacturing environment
- Execute advanced CNC machine setup and programming
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations
- Adjust tooling and work offsets to meet production requirements
- Troubleshoot existing CNC programs
- Perform significant edits to current CNC programs
- Develop basic CNC programs as needed
- Use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases to support production and quality requirements
- Apply machining practices to maintain accurate and consistent part production
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
