Full Stack Java Developer responsible for Java JEE application development, UI coding, Oracle database work, testing, code review, software architecture support, and Agile sprint delivery.

Job Requirements

• 8 or more years of application design and development experience

• Java JEE development experience

• SQL and Oracle database experience

• UI coding experience

• Experience working through the software development life cycle

• Experience developing code to meet user story acceptance criteria

• Experience debugging, testing, and correcting application errors

• Experience creating test transactions

• Experience running unit tests and integration tests

• Experience participating in design reviews, code reviews, security vulnerability testing, and code performance testing

• Experience estimating level of effort for design and development work

• Experience managing technical debt and sprint or release prioritization

• Experience mentoring junior developers

• 3 or more years of coding experience developing system architectures

• 508 compliant software application experience

Job Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java JEE

• Develop user interface code for web applications

• Work with SQL and Oracle databases

• Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements and new applications

• Develop code based on user stories and acceptance criteria

• Debug, test, and fix software errors

• Create test transactions and execute unit and integration tests

• Participate on a team with full stack engineers and automation testers

• Conduct design reviews and code reviews

• Support security vulnerability testing and code performance testing

• Ensure code and application work comply with development standards

• Manage technical debt across sprints and releases

• Prioritize development work with sprint teams

• Estimate development effort for assigned features and user stories

• Build service-oriented architecture using web service standards

• Develop analysis, design, and software architecture documentation

• Support Agile sprint and release delivery activities

• Share development best practices across sprint teams

• Mentor junior developers

Pay: 37-49/hr

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
