Job Requirements
- Systems engineering experience
- Experience leading technical development of engineering products
- Experience defining and documenting system requirements
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or JAMA
- Experience developing system designs and architectures
- Experience balancing performance, cost, and technical risk during system design
- Experience ensuring compatibility and interoperability of system components
- Experience overseeing system integration activities
- Experience with validation and verification methods, including inspection, analysis, test, and demonstration
- Experience supporting program, airworthiness, or regulatory requirements
- Experience identifying technical risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Experience creating Interface Control Documents, technical specifications, Statements of Work, and compliance records
Preferred Skills
- 747 airframe experience
- Aerospace systems engineering experience
- Visio experience
- Model-Based Systems Engineering experience
- CSM experience
- Experience with airworthiness certification support
- Experience developing compliance documentation for aerospace programs
Job Responsibilities
- Lead technical development of assigned engineering products
- Gather and define system requirements with project stakeholders
- Document system requirements using tools such as DOORS or JAMA
- Develop system designs and architectures that meet project requirements
- Ensure system components work together to achieve required performance and functionality
- Evaluate compatibility and interoperability across system components
- Oversee system integration to verify intended system operation
- Execute validation and verification activities using inspection, analysis, test, and demonstration methods
- Verify systems meet program, airworthiness, and regulatory requirements
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare Interface Control Documents, technical specifications, Statements of Work, and compliance records
- Maintain technical documentation throughout the engineering lifecycle
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
